I had the extreme honor of traveling to Upstate New York over the Summer to capture Ian and Natalie’s gorgeous greenhouse wedding at Audrey’s Farmhouse. It was basically a dream and if this venue was around when I was getting married, I 100% would get married here. I always dreamed of getting married in an old greenhouse, because incase you didn’t know #crazyplantlady.
Audrey’s Farmhouse is a super stylish and incredibly charming farmhouse from the 1700’s that was recently renovated to be a bed and breakfast. The owners really have such amazing taste, I want them to design my house. They also took on a huge project across the street, turning an old barn and multiple greenhouses into an event venue with lodging lovingly named The Greenhouses. The venue has a beautifully modern design with lots of natural elements. Getting ready in the greenhouses hotel was perfect for Natalie. Gorgeous furniture, plenty of space and amazing natural light. She is the creative genius behind Komolmis Designs , an event planning and design company in Brooklyn. So basically every single detail of this day was perfection. The ceremony took place in a clean, modern courtyard with a simple, yet stunning greenery display from Heart and Soil. It perfectly mimic’d the gorgeous, wild greens that were strewn all over the greenhouse. Dinner was hosted in said greenhouse and it did not disappoint. The way the light poured in and wrapped Ian and Natalie in a warm, romantic glow during toasts, well it was magic.
Ian is a really good friend of mine from growing up, so I knew this wedding would be really special. He is one of those people that everyone feels akin to instantly. He makes you feel special and loved and has met his match in Natalie. Together they are the most generous and genuine pair I’ve met. All morning Natalie was asking everyone else if they needed anything, or were having a good time and she was helping all her ladies friends with their hair and makeup right until she put on her dress. Watching these two be celebrated by all their loved ones and friends was a definite highlight of the year. Stylish, yet down to earth, creative as heck and loyal as hell. These two are just the best. The night was full of old friends, happy tears, ridiculous dance moves and sore faces from laughing so hard. Here are a million photos because I’m unsure what other words I can use to describe the incredible day.
