Fran and Luke and I met up one chilly morning a couple months ago to explore one of my favorite parts of the Oregon Coast together. Their wedding is back in Texas on Fran’s family ranch, but they wanted their engagement photos to capture the essence of their new home, to share with friends and family. We chose a beach by Manzanita that had all the perfect ‘Oregon’ things to offer. Jutting rock faces, a beautiful waterfall and a forest hike with amazing views!
Frances is an actual model, so the cold temps didn’t stop her from making the shoot look warm and cozy. That, combined with the way Luke was always looking at Fran with googlie eyes, and the way she was always cracking up at his jokes, made them a serious dream to shoot. I’ll let the absurd amount of photos do the rest of the talking!
LOVE THIS! I want to head to Oregon so bad (southern girl from Georgia over here). The lighting is beautiful!
Do it!! I’m from the East Coast too, and when I first moved here it blew my mind, and still does!
This session makes me want to grab my hubby and go get lost in the woods for a little while. Simple gorgeous!!!
I think you should do just that! Thank you!
I have never been to Oregon and it just looks so dreamy! I love your moodiness and the touch of playfulness. These are so sweet!
Thank you Christine! It really is so dreamy, you should visit!
