Cynthia and Johnny were coming up to Portland from LA to see their favorite band and celebrate their recent engagement. I was so excited when they reached out saying they wanted to have engagement photos done in the gorge as part of their weekend getaway. Cynthia and I watched the weather for weeks with our fingers crossed. This Winter and early Spring were some of the rainiest months we’ve had, so when their date kept showing as sunny we just couldn’t believe it. I think they brought those LA vibes with them because we got one of the only sunny days in all of February! We spent the morning exploring the gorge together, running around waterfalls and admiring the snowy vistas. And though you can’t tell in the photos it was still pretty dang chilly. So by the time we were finished everyone had earned a big savory brunch! Also, major points to Cynthia rocking that killer outfit through it all!
