It has taken me FOREVER to blog this session, but only because I love it so much. I knew it would have to be a doozy if I was going to do it justice! Hannah and Zak really wanted some adventure photos for their Columbia Gorge engagement session. Luckily they totally trusted me to find and try a few new locations in the gorge. I’ll be honest, one of my favorite parts of what I do is location scouting. I think it’s so awesome to be able to explore a new place. Scoping out awesome photo spots and to be able to call it work… and to write off the trip mileage 😉
We were gifted an unseasonably warm day and beautiful weather. We spent a few hours together exploring trails and a waterfall and going through not one, but two bottles of champagne. The evening ended on a gorgeous dock overlooking the Columbia River with the prettiest sunset as a send off. These two are one of my favorite couples and even though this was the first time hanging out with them, I instantly felt like we were old friends. I have a feeling everyone who meets them feel that way, though. And that makes me very excited for their wedding at Castaway Portland this Summer! It’s going to be one for the books!
