Kelly and Aaron had a stunning wedding at the beautiful Bridal Veil Lakes in the Columbia River Gorge, just east of Portland. Bridal Veil Lakes is a gorgeous wedding venue set back in the woods off the Historic Columbia River Highway. There are scenic views of the gorge, forested areas, gardens and a beautiful lake all in a super private setting.
They got ready at Mcmennamins Edgefield which also has beautiful grounds and gardens. We took portraits there before heading to the venue. To start off the wedding their bridal party entered the ceremony by crossing the lake in canoes. Definitely one of my favorite ‘aisles’ at any venue. This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to recently, with every guest really knowing how to enjoy themselves. Kelly and Aaron are so crazy in love that it was hard to get them to stop making out during portraits 😉 Here is just a small sampling of my favorite moments from the day.
Big thanks to Tasha Vanasse for second shooting and the ladies of Ah Ha Events for making the day beautiful!!!
You captured the beauty of Bridal Veil Lakes in this sweet wedding post so wonderfully! I love how often this bridal party was out in the boats!

Pure magic. Their first kiss pic made me do a double take, same with the sunset portraits. Your edit and use of light always gets me. Bridal veil lakes is also gorgeous! I hope I get a chance to photograph a wedding there someday 🙂
